I have become a recent convert to the green smoothie movement. My sister got me hooked, first through buying them at the local shopping centre and later through making them at home. The combination of vegetables and fruit is fresh and cleansing.
Ingredients
Two pears
A handful of spinach
A handful of fresh mint
1 cup of green grapes
1 avocado
2 cups of yoghurt
1 cup of ice
Preparation
Peel and chop the pears and avocado. Rinse the grapes and spinach. Pick mint leaves from the stalk.
Method
Put all the ingredients in a blender. Pulse to a smooth consistency.
Drinking
Admire the fresh green colour and pour into glasses to serve.
